Just got tuned .Mach1 stock w/high flow cats. Seems rich past 6k. I would think .76 lamda for n/a is kinda fat no?
I'm not an expert and definitely not claiming to be just would like an opinion before I ask the tuner to look at it again.
I've read coyotes like fuel but how much I don't know

That's catalyst enrichment kicking in richening the ratio to cool the cats off. Only comes into play when cat temps reach a certain temperature set in the tune. Totally normal with cats.

I was thinking that but can't get a datalog without it. I guess it kicks in every time I go wot? Even the first wot does that.
Thank you though I feel a little better

Most likely yes. It's hot out. The car is hot. The exhaust is hot. WOT is hot.

If you're concerned about it just ask your tuner about it and see what he says.

Its pretty rich if your NA, I'm boosted and target .78 on power demand up high.

What to look for is your actual (measured) vs commanded lambda being pretty close, That means the ecu is commanding richer for some reason. Most likely cat over temp as Pistol suggested, See if you can add Fuel source to your logging if its not there and it will tell you.

I attached screenshots that include my commanded lamda (equivalence ratio commanded a little above fuel source) + fuel source. You can also see how long it takes me at WOT to hit the cat overtemp protection. I dont have gear logged and I cant recall but If I had to guess I would say this is wide open from 3-6 and I hit the protection right at the top of 5th with how my temp limits are setup and enrich to .7 lambda to cool down the cats. (Your tuner might or might not have messed with it from stock)

It’s in power enrichment. It’s going to happen every time unless you tune it for a different enrichment. Easy tune change. Talk with your tuner if you don’t have one get one

Any time you go wot the tune uses the power enrichment part of the tune. Nothing to do with the exhaust or cat temps. There is another table for cat temp protection

He gave an opinion yes. I doubt it has to do with cat temp if it’s happening every time he goes wot. That would be power enrichment
I actually did another log and watched cat temp. Started at like 1200° and ended at 1600° went 2-4 the gear. Lamda was the same above 6k was all .76ish.
Can't find fuel source on the sct device.
Also noticed 60lb on the mass air reading up around 7600 rpm. That hight for n/a stock mach with nothing but high flow cats no?

.76 is rich for just high flow cats. Do you have a check engine light on? Do you have a tune?
