Long story short I had two different blow outs on my drive to TX and I had whatever was available put on to get home. They threw 255 DWS' on the rear (the front has random stuff). I'll get the 305 MT's back on the rear but can I use the Continental's on the front?.. or do I just need to toss those and stick with a radial up there too? Thanks

Most aren't going to be running a radial up front, especially if you do any kind of driving off the track.

Me personally, I'd move to something a bit closer in wear and traction just so there's not quite the imbalance probably in the 350 range and below. Like a PS4S, Indy firehawk, etc just as that is a huge spread in tire traction and can cause some odd situations with front-rear imbalance. For instance, When running an NT555RII, Nitto recommends a summer front, the G2.

Right now, I run a NT555RII on the rear and a PS4S on the front on boost.

Very common and you'll be just fine.

A lot of cars came with 255/40 fronts and 275/40 rears from the factory.

Im in Texas and I always run Michelin PS4S up front with Nitto NT555RII’s out back. I tried running the Nitto NT05’s up front at one time and they wore out in less than a year, never again.
