Front end stiffening

I am looking at a Strut tower brace from Ford racing, or this under carriage from Steeda. Which would be most beneficial?

I would do the FRPP one once it is out.

Steeda makes a STB as well but from what they said it will not work if you have the brace on the drivers side.

Do you have the PP?

Strut tower brace is for the top of the engine so not sure what it is you are asking?

Sway bar is what you are looking for or the K brace.

You would "feel" the sway bar much more than the strut brace. But if you do go that route you will want a beefed up rear as well just to keep things balanced. From there a strut tower brace will be mostly cosmetic which isnt a bad thing.

Or be like me and have all the PP stuff, replace the sway bars and springs with the Steeda items, and add the G-Trac brace (I will add soon, it's in the garage awaiting installation) from Steeda. Now that is stiff! The canyons here demand it!

Now you're talking! I'm thinking of eventually having the same suspension setup; Steeda springs & sway bars as well as the G-trac brace and a strut tower brace. I want to experience it 'stock' so I can appreciate the improvements in one fell swoop. I'm in SoCal as well and may be on some of those same canyon roads, man.

I read on several different forums and asked performance suspension shops what the most practical suspension mods were that would gain performance, and all results pointed to sway bars, under-body chassis braces, and THEN strut tower braces on NEW cars like ours where the body is new and has very little to no movement.

By the way, adding the Steeda G-Trac Brace added another dollop of better handling by making more precision during initial turn in and making the car feel like a more solid foundation for suspending wheels from, which it now is. Highly recommended. Makes canyon driving far more fun yet. Relatively inexpensive to buy and easy/inexpensive to install.
