So i'm thinking OPG, CS, MMR timing guides and a crank stud. Is there anything else i'm missing. Leaning more towards the procharger stage II now over the I.
Looks good. Add this to the list and you’ll be ready for install.
  • ARP tensioner / Guide Bolt Kit
  • FoMoCo Timing Cover Gasket, Front Main Seal and OP O-ring Kit
  • 10qt of your preferred motor oil w/filter

Does anyone know for the tensioner bolt kit, does the 350 come with aluminium or the boss 302 style?

Late to the party, lol…but thanks to @beefcake now have 500 miles on the Procharger P1X and it’s a hoot even at 6psi 🏎

What made you go Pro Charger over the other options?

lol…that’s a bit of a loaded question, but I didn’t need or want the low end of a whipple. I’ve also had a kenne bell on a 351w back in the day, so kinda been there and done it. That and everyone plus their uncle has whipples now, so that was out.

turbos are amazing, and I may eventually swap to that…but the hellion kits are pushing the low mount turbos now, and living in Texas with the rain we get makes that an instant no-go.

I have never had a centri, and Procharger has been around a LONG time. I also absolutely love the whistle of a centri with the straight cut gears…keeps the posers on their side of the street 😂

I will for sure be mulling over the same question once my warranty expires. Of course, will be watching your posts closely on a 70k mile procharge

absolutely…and keep in touch, because I absolutely intend on twin turbos and this kit will have to go somewhere at a healthy discount 😎

Update, about to click 5,000 Procharged miles…still an absolute blast, but had to upgrade the radiator to the big mishimoto because the stage 2 intercooler blocks a hell of a lot of airflow in the Texas heat. That and took out the airflow restrictor panel from behind the grill, and temps now stay normal.

next up…eyeballing bumping to 10psi after I got my @$$ handed to me by a turbo SS Camaro, well that and it would just be more funner 🫠

Compared to stock, how does the PC feel below 4000? I would like to add more umfff down low, but also think the whipple might be overkill. I have had several prochargers, wondering how it would be on the 350.

Thinking about doing some crazy shiznit like this when my warranty runs out. What all have you done to your Voodoo to handle this powah?
Enter the force induction world at your own risk on a factory motor. With that being said….IMO, as long as the oil consumption is in the normal range and your compression in each cylinder is strong on your voodoo, feel free to get blown.

Depending on what generation motor you have, forged oil pump gear and crank sprocket would be good insurance to have. I have a Gen 1 motor so I added those along with the billet chain guides. Besides that, the block is factory with the Whipple and misc items to keep the power running efficiently. I’m sure the same can be said for any other power adders like ProCharger.

83k miles on the ticker, going strong.

apologies for the delay, didn’t see this…Honestly nothing, keep the fluids fresh, the tires rotated and send it. The key (IMHO) is 50% in the tuner and 50% the fuel you are gonna use. I was late to the FI party, cause I made a half-hearted agreement with my accounting department not to loosen a single bolt until the warranty ran out…so I didn’t even put the Procharger on until 62k 🤪

same here…didn’t want/need to low end stress, but I’m told the whipple and a 350 is a match made in heaven, just ask @Inthehighdesert. Below 4k depends on what gear you are in…5th you will get your @$$ kicked, but 2nd or even 3rd and it’s game on!

agreed on all…I also have a gen1, but did NOT do the OPGs, then again I only have 82k so will gladly acquiesce to @Kobi Addiction and the insurance theory. That being said, I also have the time/tools/patience to swap my shortblock (in another 18k) and crank it up 🙈

is a centrifugal worth it? Just ask @beefcake who is selling his 8second Dark Horse…with a procharger 😬
