That is a tricky install for sure. My setup is a 22’ GT and we have the t56 in right now.

My shop was Finish Line Performance in Loveland Ohio.

They installed a special module which tells the PCM the car is in a single gear.

I have no backup camera or rev match. That being said, I would not ever wanna go back to a mt82 Eve a fully built one

T56 Magnum XL is superior in every way. Did you see Tremec has recently come out with a direct OEM replacement for s550?
I have not seen that, that’s pretty cool. Any clue on what the special module was that they used? I’ve currently got just about everything installed for the T56 swap except the trans itself due to the wiring issue.

Definitely look into the new T56 Magnum for Gen 3 Coyote.

Also, call up Brian at Finish Line Performance. Tell him Joel with the black Roush Supercharged s550 with t56 sent you over.

If the GT had a Tremec transmission if would be just about perfect. Ford, give me the option to order a Tremec in the GT and I will go out and buy a new one tomorrow. I don't need everything that comes with a Dark Horse just to get a Tremec. Until you give me that option I'm not buying another Mustang.

Tremec just released a t56 Magnum which keeps ALL OEM functions:

All you gotta do now is save up the $$$ for the gearbox and the swap

Gents,

I’m running a 800+ whp blown gen 3 Coyote with t56 swap on e85.

The car is an absolute monster

Got any 60-130 data with that transmission?
