Mustang GT Manual 2017 - now sold ☹
This install had driven me nuts man. I swear it has sapped the energy out of me so many times, it’s ridonculous (a made up word that’s far worse than ridiculous).

I’m hanging in there as best I can, but it’s not easy.
i think the word you are looking for is fudiculous .

You've done amazing to get all the issues so far sorted out, kudos maximus.

Looks the same as the GT. The picture I found was from a 23 Mach 1 so I’m curious if the difference is now.

That’s great! Glad to hear you were taken care of. Do you have a list of everything that you were missing?

Oil feed, oil drain adapter and fitting. A bunch a fittings. No ac line. Only hardware i got was 8 header bolts. Some pipes were damaged. Technically it’s a “race ready kit” but didn’t come with and oil cooler don’t know if they are expecting all customers to keep it deleted. Im sure there’s a bunch more stuff i just can’t remember right now.

Just sucks because I kept buying stuff/ researching to see the sizes of everything missing.

It’s sad that it took putting up a fight with them to get fairly compensated for being shortchanged. Hopefully all goes well from here for you (and me).

Did you ever get that wiper motor unplugged?

At this point, I think BL Fabrications is a struggling entity based on the quality of the kits and components they are putting out. I would be very cautious to use them if I were thinking about going turbo.

It sure seems like it. They said once all remaining kits are gone, there will be no more. They sure do ask a lot for them too.

There’s nothing wrong with a business making money, but the quality has to be on par with pricing. Having said that, it makes me think of a song by The Fatback Band. I’m sure you’ll remember this one too.

Yes it’s very interesting because i think billet pro shop which from what ive seen and heard makes good products and sai li never used anything they have but people do buy there stuff. They’re all connected somehow and it doesn’t seem smart for the other two parties to be connected with them.

I think I have the oil feed and sandwich plate saga solved. I went back to using the Tom’s Off-road sensor adapter with a 90* fitting.

The sensor adapter wasn’t exactly straight forward because with the 90* fitting installed, it hit the back of the alternator and wouldn’t allow me to screw it in. I had to loosen the pivot nut on the alternator (which also secures the turbo support bracket) and then remove the lower mounting bolt. This allowed me to rotate the alternator out of the way to install the adapter.

I had to do another modification to the factory coolant neck. In addition to the -16AN fitting that I’m going to have welded on, I drilled the side for an 1/8 NPT aluminum weld on bung for the Davies Craig electric water pump temperature sensor.

I had initially thought that I could just jumper off of the Delta PAG PWM fan’s temp sensor for the Davies Craig, but learned that was a no go, so I had to get creative. Both temperature sensors need to be in the upper radiator hose, so this should do it.

This was a trial and error discovery and I estimate that I spent about $60 in different size bungs and sensors before I got it right. Gotta pay to play, is what they say.

Been a busy week for me than i hurt my back pretty bad Saturday.

Got the harness rerouted to the inside of the fender and then got all of the hotside on and tightened down. Then put in my new csf radiator. Still waiting on my radiator shroud from brian williams.

Davies Craig EWP 150 mock up In progress. I’m figuring it out as I go here. I really don‘t want to hard mount it, as DC recommends letting the hoses bear the weight of the pump (which is very light to begin with), but I‘ll anchor it to the frame rail in one spot for good measure.

To finish up, I’ll need another Auto Plumb -16AN fitting like I have on the upper radiator barb, another -16AN straight push lock fitting and a 1” X 1” X 3/4” tee, to connect the return hose to the driver’s side heater core hose at the front of the valve cover.

I also buttoned up the rest of the VaporWorx Four X fuel system wiring.
