Switching from staggered to square. How will this affect the wheel fitment? And how can I retain the spacing between wheel and fender?

Attached is a picture of the current wheel fitment. It is 275/35 r19 9.5" width front, 295/35 r19 11" width back. I am about to get wheel the same width as the front to do 275 all round because I'm dailying it and would like to save some money on tires as the current stance is really pricy to do and limiting on type of tires I can get.
What I want to know is will putting 275/35 r19 on the backs ruin the tire spacing due to the change in sidewall ratio? What can I do to retain the spacing. One extra note is that the back tires are pretty stretched on the wheels. Also, from the previous owner, the car is lowered about 1" on Steeda Bump Stop Kit (I don't have the other bump stops) on the Front and the Steeda S550 Mustang Handling Suspension package.
What are my options if the new tires will affect the gap like I think it will?

I'm new to the car scene, so apologies for being naive. All advice is helpful.
Thank you

Are you replacing all four or just the rears?

A 9.5 in the ET 30 range will be flush.

Check out a square 285/35R19 on a 19x10 ET35. It will fill the space a bit better than a 275/35, but you can also do a square 19x10 ET35 with a 275/35.

The 295 is slightly stretched already on a 19x11 so a 275 is not going to work on your 11 inch wide rear wheels.

A 305 is not going to fit a 9.5 front wheel.

As stated by NightmareMoon 19x10 square with a Conti Dw06 285/35/19 would be a nice daily driving setup.

Or you could save yourself from getting new wheels and just put on 285/35 front and 305/35 rear in a Conti Sport 02 or Michelin PS4. The Contis will be a little cheaper. Always loved those CS21s wheels you have.

The 295 or 305 sizes do not come in an all season. So just depends on what you want.

I'm not sure if the rear width on your Mustang is the same as a Mach 1, but I went with the same square setup as you're inquiring about for daily driving and the ability to rotate for increased lifespan. The ET 30 appeared to keep the rear wheel at about the same stance as the stock wheels. I would've actually preferred that the wheel/tire set about 1/4 to 3/8-inch further inward, but the guy I spoke to at Vertini said the ET 30 was the best fitment to assure brake clearance.
If you go with 275/35 r19, square, your speedo could be off by +3 MPH at 80 MPH (83=80). You'll need to adjust the tire diameter with Forscan.
And the obvious drawback is that the car will not handle the same with the narrower tires on the rear. So, don't accelerate in corners like you're used to, or you'll put 'er in the ditch/wall/oncoming traffic, etc...

19x10 square with a Conti Dw06 285/35/19 +35 This is what I'm running. It looks good and I feel is the minimum width tire you'd want on stock motor/power. I have also had car on track and has been great. Tires are reasonably priced. Id sell yours and just grab a 285 squared if you can. Any larger and youll need 20s.

I'm getting just 2 of the front width. So it would be 9.5" all round. So what I have to figure out is would it be better to do 275/40 to fill the rear wheel well out but in turn possibly overfill the front wheel well. Or stay 275/35, the frost gaps stays the same, but the back wheel well will most likely look empty and the tires thin.

Most guys go 275/40. I’d still consider 285/35 for a stiff sidewalled tire

Definitely wanting to keep the wheels, they really do look great. That's why I thought just getting a second pair of the 9.5"s that are on the front would be easier. Expensive up front, but I'll spend way less on tires in the long run if I can also rotate the tires. Was looking at extreme contacts because it rains a lot where I am but rarely snows.

That's a good thing to consider. I'm keeping the same wheel style, just getting another pair of the front width. If I got 285/40 instead, would that prevent the speedometer issue?

Would it be feasible to put 285s on a 9.5"wheel? Really not wanting to get rid of the style of wheels. Just swap out the backs for 2 more front sized

As long as 285/35 can fit on the 9.5" width then I feel like that might be the best in between option. You don't think it would bulge too much?

That should only be an issue if the front is lowered noticeably more than the rear. Some springs like BMR lower less in front for more of a raked look. Otherwise, I would probably go with 275/40 if you're going to do 9.5 all around. I've done it before, also on a daily driver, and it was fine.

That’s the set up I have. Haven’t had any complaints
