Obviously, there’s a lot of limitations to come up with the right cars for a test, but these cars weren’t even close to being good representatives of each generation.

My choices would be:

68 1/2 R code
Any Mustang II
87 LX notchback 5 speed 3.08
Terminator
2013-14 GT500
2020-22 GT500

This confused me for a second. Do the bullit cars have 3 generations? Doesn't the 1968 make it 4? Or is it just the tribute cars? So it's a 6th Gen, Gen 3 Bullitt?

It's absolutely possible, but in a vintage Shelby GT-350? Talk about collectable suicide. Since the host was such a car guy that he blew it on the 4bbl. comment, I tend to think he just flat blew it again.

Nope. the film car(s) were just a Highland Green GT 390 4 speed car. Never built as or sold as a 'Bullitt' at the time. Scott Hoag, who did the '03/'04 Mach 1 did the 2000 Bullitt show car. If you read the book about him and the car development, no one though it would be the success it was, and it was Ford that required the non-green cars be built. So: 3 generations of Bullitt tribute cars from Ford.

As always Cor WOW has me wondering how these guys keep going.

Sure one of every generation, but could they even try to keep things even?

How hard to get a 7 G with a manual? A Dark Horse with the Auto? come on man........ And aren't V8 Manual Mustangs like a dime a dozen?

And anyone who doesn't know what a 4 Barrel is............ Well, get that guy gone.............
