Steeda IRS subframe bushing support system with BMR alignment sleeves installed. Not too terrible, about 2 hours. I supported the subframe with a jack most of the time to eliminate all that weight on the threads as the bolts are removed, wonder if that is part of the reason people experience cross threading. Since the front drivers bolt seems to be the one that gives people the most trouble I removed it completely first before touching any of the other three. Then did them all one at a time, using the jack to raise the subframe rather than letting the bolts pull it up. I only used the two rear alignment sleeves. Fun fact, I bought the BMR sleeves because they were half the price of the Steeda sleeves, but they were about 1/4 inch too long so I had to take the rears back out when I was all done and cut off the ends with a hacksaw. Looks like there’s a little gap above the rear bolts, but they are tight as hell and I don’t want to force anymore. I asked Steeda about it and they said as long as the center metal sleeve that's part of the bushing is touching the frame (which I THINK it is), it's fine. Also, super annoying that there is no room to get an impact on the two rears because of the exhaust.

I wonder if the Steeda fits with no cutting?

They do. I put the steeda sleeves on mine and the bushing supports too and they fit perfectly. I also did steeda jacking rails and IRS braces.

Are you sure that you didn't just have the sleeves mixed up front to back? 2 of them are a 1/4" longer on purpose

Hmm I don’t think so, there were two different diameters and the bigger one would not fit in the rear bushings. But at this point, I suppose anything is possible.

Yesterday I had an oil change to put in the summer oil Motocraft FS 5-50 W , Filter and new updated drain plug with 2 ORings.
I know a Master Tech, he takes good care of me, he knows how picky I am and has no problem with that , he checked the trans fluid all good . I always shake his hand, and tell him thank you from Pres. Jackson 😁 .

I purchased my Oil , Filter and the Plug from Amazon.
Here in the Az Desert it's so hot mid March thru October I dicided to step up to 5-50W , the under hood temps are very hot . Not a daily driver, and over 110 degrees I don't take her out .
But, it‘s dry heat.….🙄.
I was one dust storm and a single searing inhale away from never going back. 🤣

Flow formed, they are about 7 lbs lighter than stock but are 1/2" wider.

Very cool, I went with the flow formed on my 6GR sevens. Love the look of those Mike!

So I measured the clearance in the middle of the front splitter before and after installing the GT500 front springs, and now it's 1-1/4" higher than stock ugh. It started out 1-3/4" higher off the jack stands but compressed 1/2" after a drive around the block. Trying to figure out what the heck to do. Wonder if it's bad that it's a little higher? Nice not having to worry as much about scraping, that's for sure. Definitely don't want to have to tear it all apart again, changing springs is one of my least favorite projects. Might consider installing GT500 rears too but I purposely wanted to leave them stock for better weight shift at launch.

part of the reason we do springs is for the stance. Of course performance is the #1 thing to consider but a taller car is a downgrade on both fronts. Steeda springs?

I didn’t want to lower it so that rules out basically any aftermarket springs.
