ST's are cool trucks. Wife has the even faster Lincoln version and it's a blast. 494hp, 630lb/ft of trorque. 0-60 in 5.0 in an unassuming 3 row SUV with full air ride and Magneride dampers is pretty awesome.

We looked at the Lincoln’s as well but my wife liked the Explorer better. Gotta keep her happy LOL

Amen to that. I lead the charge on this one to be sure and the price difference is real. Our Aviator, which is 90% the same as the explorer, had a 90k+ MSRP due to the hybrid system, air ride, and other upgrades. Thats a chunk of change to spend on what's essentially just s fancy Explorer.

I have a superformance shelby 427 cobra. It makes about 570 hp and was built in 2022. I also have a 2022 ford bronco black diamond that is far from stock which i picked up last summer in Atlanta. It has a kings lifted coil over suspension, all kinds of lighting goodies, subwoofer, hdx running boards, and fuel rims with 37s.

Forgot to include this. This is what takes care of my need for speed in the winter.

lol, dam kids nowadays…I grew up on snowmobiles in the 70s/80s/90s and remember when the Polaris Indy 400 came out, we were all aghast at the speed that thing had. And let’s talk about all the girly options we didn’t have…

electric start? No…you pulled it until the angels sang to clear the flooded carb and/or dislocated your shoulder
fuel injection? No, you learned the delicate dance with the choke or referred to above.
oil injection? No, you learned how to mix 40:1 in 20 below zero on a frozen lake with nothing more than a paper clip and a coffee cup.
hand warmers? No, you learned to switch hands at speed or risk frostbite even thru three layers of gloves
reverse? No, you planned your exit ahead of time or camped out wherever you stuck it, until your uncle finds you in the morning
front suspension? No it was an upside down leaf spring that only your dentist liked.

….that being said, thats a good lookin machine you got there 😬👍🏼

Ahh, those were the days! kind of miss them in some ways, it was always an adventure and you weren't sure if your machine would keep running and make it home. Or if you had enough spare spark plugs or belts. Those adventures built character. Sure fills that need for speed though.
