Turbo Exhaust Wrap Recommendations for Hot Pipes

Hi,

I assume most exhaust wrap is pretty much the same, but I was curious if there is one that almost everyone goes with? In addition to that, the gold reflective tape as well. Thanks!

Have you considered coating them? I had my entire hot side piping done at JetHot Coatings with their 2000* coating. While it may not have been necessary, I still used fiberglass/foil covered heat shield tape, as well as high temp Tesa tape on wiring, to layer up.

So I'm still looking myself. I'd highly suggest calling Bumberas performance, specifically Boyd, here in texas. While you may be too far away, they have a new inside and out coating that supposedly kills heat transfer, from some company that works with SpaceX. I'm still waiting to get data back from their turbo build, but I really want to do it on my NA pipes if the data looks good.

Might be worth a call just to get contact info and maybe find someone local to you.

I had all the hot pipes cerakoted and using the gold DEI tape where I feel necessary. Hopefully that is enough.
