Dark Horse SC, who's adding one, who's replacing with one, what will it do to GT500 values?

I've been told by so many experts on here that the engine was sure to explode if the OEM PCV system is not intact.
Who told you that? Ford Performance sells catch cans for S550 (as do numerous other aftermarket companies), so clearly Ford doesn’t think they’ll blow up

There's a group of people in here that seem to think that catch cans in general are bad, and that omitting the PCV system will hurt the motor. Many many threads on the subject. I was being sarcastic - I am well aware that omitting the PCV system, and venting the crankcase to atmosphere, or into a breather type catch can is fine, and ideal when in a forced induction application

This type, still routes back to the intake manifold. Im specifically talking about versions that do not plumb back to the intake at all, just like the one on that GT4 Darkhorse.

Got it, I glossed over that part

I like to disassemble things.
@Epiphany these new S650s use an Electronic Brake Booster and S550 uses vacuum boost, I wonder how that would impact usage on S550 GT500
In the end, whether a can with engine vacuum or an electric pump, both generate hydraulic pressure. One would assume that the electric version offers greater control/consistency but I suppose the more important aspect is how similar is the amount of pressure generated? Calipers on the S650 are very similar to the S550 (not sure how close piston diameters are) as are pads. This is great bench racing fodder for now until more information is released. Ford knows people are frothing for the rotors/pads so it'll be interesting to see how they handle this.

If one has a Gt500, and especially a Cftp, just don’t see the appeal. Same car without the visual appeal. I’m biased obviously.
I agree with you, I am not a fan of 3 headlights, all screen dash and that BUTT ugly tail light assembly.

Trusted sources (Vorshlag) indicate brake by wire is a huge improvement on track with the darkhorse versus the M1. I'm guessing the same will be true with the DH SC versus GT500.

I would absolutely get one if I could find someone who wanted to buy my GT500.

I don’t think you’d have an issue selling your car Jaime. It’s pretty awesome

Thanks for the kind words.

I mean, I love it, it's been a ride. I'm just bored.

Where would I even start trying to sell this car?

Anyway, that's a conversation to be had on a different thread. I don't wanna take this one off the rails.

It's really just a numbers game, and patience. Finding a buyer for something that unique is hard, but not impossible. You just have to flood the market with listings, and wait until a big fish bites. BAT, Craigslist, Cars and Bids, Ebay, Hagerty, etc. And, put on your flame proof jacket and be ready for a lot of lowball offers, and shit talkers. I've sold 2 heavily modified cars on Craigslist, just takes time.
