Just an FYI. If you remove the factory amp, all warning chimes and backup sensor beeps will come through the speaker in the speedo cluster and not through the stereo. Yes there is a speaker in the speedo gauge as a backup. If the car detects that the OEM amp is no longer on the can bus it sends those chimes there and if you do a scan for trouble codes, you'll see a message about it.

I don't have my factory amp in the car anymore and it works just fine this way.
I'm curious about this... I just installed the DSR1 and amps in my 2019 Mustang. The sound is great! I'm having an issue with popping in the left front speaker, but I think it's a wiring issue, but that's not why I'm replying.

The warning chimes are REALLY loud. I thought I'd ask here... has anyone been able to adjust the volume of the warning chimes after removing the factory amp and replacing with aftermarket amps?

As far as the output wiring, I followed everything except using the one set of output wires labelled Center Channel. Like I said, the music sounds great, but I'm sure after I tune it some more (ran out of time) it will sound even better.

Would this work to use as a sort of equalizer for the factory system? I just want clearer highs and mids. I have the Shaker w sub. So if I’m not planning on replacing speakers anytime soon, will this help the factory system sound better?
The Rockford Fosgate DSR1 bypasses the factory amp in your mustang. Yes, it has a DSP and an EQ, but you will have to use an aftermarket amp/s to power your speakers

I'm curious about this as well. Any of you early adopters have any issues with noise? Thank you.
The old harnesses didn't come with load bearing capacitors which caused the noise. But they do come with them now

Called both RF, and Maestro ... initial reactions were nothing seems wrong, but there defiantly something isn't right, i spent another couple hours flashing and resetting defaults, and still I basically have a usable volume range from 18 - 27, anything below 18 almost not audible. VERY frustrating. Going to keep working with Maestro and see what can be done...
A little late to this thread but I have this exact issue now. I had the DSR1 + FO3 harness installed in a 2015 Mustang with Shaker system and had it working flawlessly. Now I upgraded to a 2022, put everything back in and swapped the harness to a FO2 as advised by iDatalink. Did you somehow manage to fix this issue?

That was not the response I was hoping for. Just confused it worked flawlessly on the 2015 but gives me a headache on the 2022. May I will just try to flash the 2015 software on it again and see what happens.
