What would you charge to put a system like that in my Mustang GT?

Or am I not supposed to ask such a question?

@frank s Sorry, a few months late just saw this now lmao. I'm not even sure because it was seriously an immense amount of work and so many steps to the process. If you are serious though you could shoot me a PM lol.

Haven't updated this thread in awhile. Pulled out the rear D3100 battery to save on weight. Replaced it with a 500 farad XS supercap bank. Saved 80lbs!

    Voltage drop.... Rests at ~14.7V

    D3100 battery: 13.5V
    Supercap: 14.1V
    Neither: 10.8V

    Needless to say I'm impressed.

I'll bid $548.47! I hope it doesn't come to that for ya. Hate to have to undo something you love.

Good luck with your short block. Would hate to see you have to rip all that work out.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure yet but considering it since the system is worth a few thousand that would pay for sleeves... I dont use it half the time because I'm listening to the exhaust lol. It is a ton of work and a huge loss ill be taking versus what I paid for everything, so I'm not sure yet but may sell just the subs or maybe cut it in half and sell one sub/amp.

It's right below the flux capacitor lol

Unfortunately this thread is now defunct. Updated the title to reflect the current changes but will leave the rest of the post as is.

I split the subwoofers in half basically. Sold one amp and one sub, and made a new enclosure. Put the money I made towards my built motor.

Old box was really too little internal volume for both speakers. This box now gives the one speaker all the room it needs. Although I haven't tested it out yet, I suspect lower overall volume but deeper lows.

Here is the new system. Now just 4500W. I can close both seats now though! And a front port which I prefer.

When in college my roommate had a Marshal Stack with 2 hundred watt heads. We would hook up the stereo and blast it. Now I wear hearing aids but man it was awesome!
