Nowadays DSS is the only company offering a CF driveshaft for us Ecoboost owners. Had ordered a QA1 unit from CJ's months ago and the day after I ordered it I was told they were discontinued. Gulf Coast doesn't have an Ecoboost model only GT and GT350. I'll have to risk the DSS to lose some more weight.
I wouldn’t called a risk. We probably sell 5 to 10 driveshafts from DSS a week for the last 10 years.

That’s what I run in all my shop cars

Let me know if we can help with one

It's a risk, especially if you look at the comment section. 🤣

Whoa! Most comments are negative., for what it’s worth. Havnt heard much feedback on how the gulf coast carbon holds up.

I don't remember QA1 requiring cradle braces/lockout setup whereas DSS does state it in their product description. In my case I do have Steeda cradle braces so that requirement is fulfilled.

I like to disassemble things.
About to say I vaguely thought I read they were the supplier for the gt500
They supplied the CF tube for the GT500. May very will still be for the GTD and the yet to be released DH SC.

they are not making driveshafts anymore

they don’t even have the equipment to make driveshafts anymore. They sold it all.
I noticed the only list the model year 18. Nothing over that year which is strange.

Do you know if they piecemealed it (auction?) or a single buyer snatched up the equipment with the intent to eventually make driveshafts?
