After mixing and matching for the past thousand miles, I've developed a natural habit of first putting the car in track mode, steering in normal, and disabling all traction/stability nets.

Track mode provides my favorite throttle mapping setup, but its default "sport" steering weighting feels artificially heavy and less predictable to me (although it's great for highway cruising). One of my biggest surprises has been noting that I prefer the normal steering weight over the sport's.

I love starting the car up and hitting my toggles... it's like preparing for take off. :D

Sport+ for the mode, Sport for the steering. I'll try Track mode in the spring, although I'm not a fan of turning off stability control all the way on public roads.

I tried Winter mode when there was a lot of snow on the road. I didn't like it...quite apart from the throttle being dead the engine power was cut too aggressively upon traction loss and I would bog down when I really needed to motivate. So I just do Sport+ all the time. Between the Blizzak LM-32 tires (which are fantastic by the way) and how beautifully controllable the yaw is on this car thanks to the lovely steering and throttle calibration, it works great and is huge fun.

I wonder if a dyno was done, what the power difference in each mode would be...

The dyno readouts would likely be identical save for your standard deviation. All throttle maps reach 100% throttle opening, so if your foot's matted to the ground, you're going to get the same end result.

Id be interested in seeing the TQ and HP curves though. From the butt dyno or at least placebo wise... Sport and Trac feel to hit a lot hard in WOT than normal mode.

I like running my setup as a sort of preflight checklist. Starting from the right hand go to Sport+, Sport steering, Traction off, and finally seat heaters on.

I could probably just hit it to Track and not bother with the remainder, but it is fun.

normal mode and steering sport. I haven't even put it into other modes yet except trying different steering modes.

I drive in sports+ mostly, and ice/snow on bad weather days

I tend to use Normal driving mode the most because of the weather. When it's dry and above 40 degrees I switch to Sport and if the weather is really nasty I switch to Wet/Snow.

Steering is set to sport 100% of the time.

Its the same....no extra power from the modes or compared to a base GT

I wonder if a dyno was done, what the power difference in each mode would be...

You might not even be able to run it on a dyno without AdvancedTrac turned off completely. If the front wheels are stationary and the rear wheels are spinning TC would kick in. A way around this is an AWD dyno, but in that case the Driving Modes would make no difference on power output.

On good weather days, I drive in sport+ and sport for steering. Raining days, I drive only in Rain/snow and sport for steering.

Funny thing, I have not even put it in track mode yet. Been chilly here and with the way 3rd can get sideways in sport + been cautious to try Track :)
