The Tire Rack talks about it, and I think the Consumers Union might talk about it.Why doesn't anybody talk about braking distances when talking about tires?
If a better tire means shorter braking distances, isn't it worth the extra money to avoid a collision? Or worse?
I think the car owners who compare tires for autocross or running laps probably apply a similar thought process (if not the same amount) into DD tires. I think that's way less than half of us on this forum.
The rabbit holes are out there, for those of us that look.
For those that didn't want to look, and just want to choose tires by price, there's only so much we can do to help them.
