But don’t wait too long. If inflation is at 4% and you want to get a bit more than 50k, waiting 12 months means that an offer priced at 52k a year from now gives you the same amount of buying power than today.
Alternatively, if you sell it now and put the 50k in the right ETF (10% a year), you will get 55k out of that when you look at your investment one year from now.

Mach 1 owners / orderers generally seem to feel like it will hold its value well.

GT350 owners (and to a lesser extent, other S550 owners) seem to think it will depreciate much faster than GT350s, and won't be worth much more than any other Mustang.

Personally I think there's an excellent chance that Mach 1's will hold their value better than GTs, and will hold it similarly to Shelbys.

I say all this as someone with a Mach 1 on order but also considering buying a used GT350.
Scrolling and saw this thread and thought hmm I'll give it a peek... then realized I was the OP about 4 years ago LOL!

It's pretty clear now that Shelbys have held their value much better than Machs. Glad I won't be selling anytime soon (but also glad I didn't buy a used 350, this thing is amazing )

I love that there are two awesome Mustangs to pick from in this price and performance range that are similar but also so different. :fistbump:

Idk about that. My friend just bought a GT350 for $34K. 2016 Competition Orange with no issues. Base Mach 1's are still in the 50's and HP's are still being sold for $60K+

ok, so…a ~2year old HP low mile for 60k vs. a ~10year old 350 with 100@34k?!?

point being…depreciation (just like inflation and/or karma) is a b1tch 🥸

any guesses as to what a ~10year M1 with 100k will be worth???

…askin for a friend 🙈🙉🙊

From what I’ve seen, 350’s are priced insanely high now. Specifically, 19/20 and any R models. $35k for a 350 with 100k miles? Wow!

nice car for sure. But what will it SELL for is the question. Asks are sometime high when someone really doesn t care if they sell. That was a big MSRP.
Yeah I'm seeing handling package cars under 10K miles for around $53K.
