It sounds like you are talking out of your butt.I would expect the curved profile from Jokerz to perform best.
I'm an engineer with a physics degree. It sounds like you are talking out of your butt.
Are you an engineer? Do you have qualifications that would back up your assessment here? Also, what isn't curved about the Kong porting? Kong clearly took away more material and left behind a more polished surface....is that not desirable?
It's a great kit. Just old tech. The latest and greatest PDs relocated their intercooling to the top which is far better for supporting big power builds.Seems to me the Roush is not that great of an SC. I've only read a few pages here, and this is what It seems like to me.
That's basically what I'm trying to say. We're flogging a dead horse. Many of us have an affinity to our S550s and Roush. From what I've seen Whipple is a superior product . I wouldn't install either in my Mach 1.It's a great kit. Just old tech. The latest and greatest PDs relocated their intercooling to the top which is far better for supporting big power builds.
run both models through CONVERGE and seeIt sounds like you are talking out of your butt.

This is certainly not what you basically said. This entire thread is for people that own the supercharger and are looking for assistance with their builds, installs, etc... or are trying to help others in their quest for knowledge and understanding of the supercharged car and the associated products. This is most certainly not a "dead horse" as the supercharger is still on my car...and everyone's car that owns one....this isn't a discussion about "what blower should I get?" Or "which blower is better?".That's basically what I'm trying to say. We're flogging a dead horse. Many of us have an affinity to our S550s and Roush. The porting issue and question that just came up is valid, to me at least. If the gains really are that significant then I also wonder why they aren’t more popular. That's basically what I'm trying to say. We're flogging a dead horse.
I own one of each. Each has pros and cons and I’d say each does something better than everyone else. The Roush calibration is the “best” I’ve found and the closest to oem level that you can get in the aftermarket. The belt drive also has significant advantages, such as lower crank stress, a fluid damper, and retention of cooling in the case of a belt failure. Yes they left some power on the table in the tb, inlet geometry, and intercooler. However, when @Autopart101 made well over 900 with a ported blower and modest pulley upgrade, it really made it a contender in my mind. FWIW the intercooler is much less of a factor when running e85.…From what I've seen Whipple is a superior product . I wouldn't install either in my Mach 1.
I don't want a Whipple or a Roush. Put an S650 Whipped against a similarly set up S550, go for pinks, and the S650 will has another car to play with. This is certainly not what you basically said. And in the middle of our discussion about porting the supercharger you say this:
"Seems to me the Roush is not that great of an SC. I've only read a few pages here, and this is what It seems like to me. If a product is that bad why bother"
You just come on here and talk shit for no reason. Cool, you think it's not that great and acknowledge that YOU DIDN'T READ ANYTHING ON HERE of the almost 900 pages and have nothing good to contribute.
Then you say this:
"From what I've seen Whipple is a superior product . I wouldn't install either in my Mach 1"
AND YOU DON'T EVEN OWN ONE. So don't post! Think this in your head and move on! Be a considerate adult. If you have questions about superchargers go make you own thread. Do you think you were helpful by telling us that Whipple is superior in 2025? Do you think I am just going to pull my Roush 2650 off of my car and put a Whipple on because I had no idea and money is no object? I can't imagine anybody being this dumb and the only other option is your comments have malicious intent. Either way I don't ever want to see your posts on this forum.
