The unloaded skar box is worth it.

Just picked up the skar 12 unloaded box for my 12 inch SSA xcon subwoofer. I had to make a spacer to increase the mounting depth. I did a small mod by using a 6mm U Nut and a 6mm by 35mm bolt with lock nut and washer to secure it in place better. I have this setup powered by a kicker 1k watt amp. It pounds pretty good I'd say and look at the trunk space! I do have the skar audio speaker grill on order so I'll post a picture when that comes in. Just wanted to share and pass this along

Same as trying to get an EU Ford OE windshott send from German seller to USA or Canada....won't happen unless get on eBay from eastern Europe.

It's comical on how everyone complains but rejects export business at same time because too lazy or restricted by anticompetitive rules.

They are in stock now. And with my modification using a 6mm bolt and 6mm U Nut it holds the 35 pound subwoofer plus the 15 pound box in place & I've had the car sideways to test this out.

Now without the modification it will probably be okay with a lighter sub but the plastic push pin will probably come out if you drive aggressively at a track.

Here's an update with the skar subwoofer grill. It's very sturdy and give alot of room for the subwoofer to move. Now it's protected and I can fully use the trunk. Hope this helps someone
