2022 Mach 1 Corsa Exhaust

Hey everyone, just wanted to post a quick video of my current exhaust setup. It’s a Corsa Xtreme Catback with the double Helix X Pipe. Stock headers. Let me know if I should get long tube headers with cats next.

If you want it 50% louder, I say go for it. Headers on stock exhaust makes the Mach 1 scream Add Corsa and it is double loud... I had catted headers and a Borla S type on my 22 GT and I resonated it VERY fast afterward, it was TOO much for me... I simply did a resonator delete on my Mach 1 and it made it sound perfect to me...

Check your welds, Corsa TIG welds are great but the MIG welds on my Extreme active muffler inlets are suspect and failing.

You’re not kidding lol. I just went to a car show this morning and someone had a super charged GT and had long tubes with no cats. Wow insanely loud. I did not expect it to be that loud. Looks like I’ll be sticking with my current setup for a while lol.

Woah! That’s not good. Did you reach out to Corsa? Where they willing to replace them?

As my son would say, "they're ghosting me!" My active mufflers were manufactured in 2022 and they were equipped with the first generation version of actuator valves that rattled. Corsa was great about replacing the valves (separate clamp-on tip assembly,) last year, with their latest design utilizing an anti-rattle wave spring/washer on the end of the pivot shaft but they've ignored my email and warranty submission addressing the weld concern. I don't know if they're under new management or something else has changed within the company but it's bad business to ignore customers when they raise legitimate manufacturing quality concerns.

Update...Corsa finally replaced the muffler assembly. For the $2K+ prices these aftermarket 304 stainless steel systems cost, you'd think more TIG welds would be used on critical joints instead of sloppy MIG welds.
