I think they tried to follow Corvette's lead in trying to make it look as "Exotic" as possible. To me, the c8 was another failure. Where Mustang went the way of the Honda Accord, Corvette went the way of an Acura.

Corvette -I‘d say the styling is adventurous, and in my opinion “Transformeresque” and not something I’d enjoy, but the performance is undeniable.

Yep, me too (on my second Mach 1, first was non HP). Wanted a tad bit more.. Considered the DH but did not like the new design etc. and for the price. Also considered finding a 1 owner, low mileage '19 or '20 GT350 but at the time what I could find the prices were high and I was leery of paying $70k up for a 5-year-old car. So, the Mach 1 with the HP was and still is perfect fit for me.

Side note and off topic a bit; The other day I saw a Dodge Charger Scat Pack - electric version - for $80k! I had a '20 Scat Pack (mid-life crisis..) that I bought for $40k. So, $80k now for a fugly looking E Charger. Yikes. Ok, back on topic; yep, Mach 1 is just fine and worth every penny,

Dude…I was in the E Charger. It is an absolute animal. The sound they added is wild. They did rides at Barrett Jackson. I don’t want one, but it is the fastest car I’ve ever been in. FWIW.

What is a “GT350 guy” or “ Mach 1 guy?”

Can a person be a guy who bought one of the these cars?

Just because you bought a Mach 1 or gt350 does not automatically make you “that guy”

You have to let other people’s own choices live rent free in your head and then cape for the gt350… or now as mentioned becoming Mach 1.

I was behind one on a recent work trip. The added sound is a bit goofy when hearing it from behind. It keeps a kind of constant noise rather than an increasing note as the RPM increases, like you’d hear with a gas engine car. Dude driving it had some fat tires on it and no doubt that it’s probably super fast. The noise just seemed too forced IMO. It’s an EV, just let it make that wind up you type noise that most of the EV’s make. Probably shed a few lbs taking out those speakers too.

From a looks perspective it wasn’t half bad. Saw an article that Stellantis is already ditching one of the trim options because they aren’t selling. Not surprised at all.

You ain’t neva lied!!! I also looked a the Corvette but the price for a Z06 is too rich for my blood. It is the only Vette I would buy as I had a C6 Z06.

There were two going at a time so it was hard to differentiate. But if ya’ll get a chance, go for a ride. One suggestion. Keep your head against the headrest.

You would think so, We have to follow their rules that exists in their head of what we can do to the cars we buy so we can not be "that guy". They try to justify the fact they don't have a certain model and so try and insult the car and owner so they can feel better about themselves.

As for your first senteance the Mustang is the one still being made while the camaro and challenger have thrown in the towel.
