Brake fluid flush time :) and also cleaned the barrels of the wheels and wheel wells while I had them off... Ready for spring driving now :)

Edit: And for those wondering, I just have the jack sitting under the rear diff for safety, no weight on it, was just there in case the shit hit the fan so I wouldn't get crushed...

Replaced the factory CYFS12YT6 spark plugs with Ford Performance CYFS 092YTP3 gapped to .026" - .028". Advised by Wengerd, ESS, and the guys on the ESS thread to do it due to possible engine damage from the factory plugs being too hot for FI. Passenger side is more of a beotch than drivers side, farthest back one on passenger side is the biggest beotch. Had to remove the positive battery cable, strut tower brace, some push pins holding the plastic windshield cowl in place, and three 13mm hex bolts under the cowl that hold a black metal plate in place that sits under the strut tower studs (there are 2 more of those exposed for removal on the passenger side as well). 7 cylinders have an 8mm hex screw holding the coil pack in place, 2nd from the back on the passenger side just pulls out with the coil pack mounted separately off to the side. Farthest one back took two wobblers and a couple extensions to get there. 5/8" spark plug socket for removal, 5/8" regular deep well socket for installation. Total time about 2 hours. All the plugs had soot / heat indications about 1/3 of the way up the threads, but one on the drivers side had it the whole length of the threads! Great QC, Ford.

My Dad and I took our matching M1s on a road trip up to the Dragon this week. Had a blast!

What a great thing to do with your Dad. My Dad‘s been long passed but he had some great cars in his lifetime which is where I learned everything. I wish he could see what we have today as he would’ve been thrilled.

I traded my beautiful 11,000 mile Mach 1 for something pretty special as well. Mach was fun and trouble free but as usual I got a little nuts after 4 years and went this direction...
Traded for a 2025 Cadillac CT4 -V Blackwing / special edition - number 7 of 50 in the world with a 6 speed manual Tremec. At least I still went American.

Changed up the engine bay a bit, lightly modified a GEN4 engine cover and added a coolant tank reservoir cover. Pretty happy with how it turned out. This “mod” does require you to remove the factory “Powered By Ford” bracket pieces.

Wow over to the dark side. I am loving my C8 after my Mach1.

Why not the CT-5V sticker shock? I think I will trade the C 8 for one when I get old.

Which one? I would love to hit one more before I leave.
We usually hit the Ranch Santa Fe one in San Diego, but I'd be willing to go up to the San Clemente one and deal with traffic and cops for 2 hours back.

I'd be down for May 31 or June 14.
