The hidden feature I found is that the trunk release operates while the car is moving.

Found this when reaching to open the tic-tac and toothpick compartment (aka sunglasses compartment)...

Will have to check this. On my 2011 F150 there was an option buried deep in the menus to change the interval from 5 to 10 minutes. I'll have to play around and see if it's there on the Mustang.
No, seriously, what are you talking about with this "interval" fuel economy? All I can find is the single fuel economy menu section that lists mpg since you last reset the timer (which I do at every gas fillup) along with miles driven, miles to empty, and time the engine's been running since the last reset.

Where is this "interval" you're speaking about?

Press "Down" on your steering wheel button repeatedly until you find it.

When you are looking at the fuel/trip screen you are talking about you can press up or down to scroll through a few screens (trip 1, trip 2, etc.). One of the screen has last 30 minutes fuel usage.

Also for creep assist ive noticed you dont have to touch the gas at all. Just ease into the clutch a bit then the rpm's pick up to ~1000-1100 on their own.

You drive your mustang through a carwash? Wow you must not care about paint or rims.

I've been using mechanical car washes for 20 years; never had a problem. My current Mustang hasn't been through one because it's been below freezing and I won't wash it when it's that cold, but I've never had a problem before.

Truck release hidden over license plate area. I didn't even know there was one on the outside.

Not-so-hidden owners manual area. It tricked me though.

Huh??

Like Jimmy said, I've been using them for years with no problems. The one next to my practice sees its share of Porsches, Benzes, and the occasional Maserati and Aston. I really don't think I have to worry....

Well would you look at that! I had no idea that those were there; I've been wondering why the car didn't have a second trip odometer. I haven't reset that one, so I've evidently driven the car for 56 hours total (and about 1080 miles).

I see the screen with the 30 minutes fuel usage now... but it seems sort of useless, since it doesn't actually give a number, just a green line that I can tell is either closer to the bottom at 0 or to the top at 40 but not really where exactly it is.

It's usually not an issue depending on which carwash you go to.

If you're really paranoid, try a Touchless Carwash. In Canada, Esso has them all over the place. It just uses foam and a mechanical pressure washer to clean the car, and it's actually really nice. It's great for a weekly wash. Costs ~$15 per trip for the Luxury wash, less if you also pump fuel, which brings it down to ~$12. :D
