Yes. I only changed the fuel injectors and installed the BAP. There was still plenty of headroom on the fuel side, but I had already exceeded my power goals.

One of the advantages of turbos over blowers is that you don't sap as much HP to make boost. The extra energy needed to drive a blower comes from a higher fuel flow requirement. To get the same HP out of a blown car, my fuel setup would probably not be as suitable.

Cool. Does that retain the stock airbox? Reason I ask is I have the Shaker and am deciding between Procharger or TT. Also did you do oil pump gears?

It does not retain the stock airbox. Air enters at the turbo inlets, goes to the intercooler at each side of the bottom, then exits the top of the intercooler on the driver's side. Since the top of the engine is untouched, your shaker would still fit for esthetic purposes, but not be functional. I'm not sure how "functional" it is when complete anyway, but they do look cool, and remind me of my dad's 70 Mach 1.

I did not do OPG's. Since I'm not driving a blower with the crank, I'm not adding extra torsional or harmonic stress to the snout of the crank. If you look at how relatively flat my dyno graphs are, and where peak power occur, there isn't much reason to go beyond 7200 RPM. Bouncing off the Rev limiter is what I believe really destroys OPG's, but even that seems to be much less common on the Gen 3 cars. Hellion agreed that OPG's were unnecessary and overly intrusive for my specific needs. I see lots of threads about faulty aftermarket OPG's from serval manufacturers, that's definitely something that I'd rather not do with the engine in the car.

Feel free to PM if you have more detailed questions, we can set up a time to video chat out at the car.

Great. Thank you for all the info. Might be convincing me to go the TT route lol. I’m a little ways off from pulling the trigger on forced induction but hopefully soon. Enjoy the car, she’s beautiful!

I bought my kit during the Black Friday sale. Might be a good target for you.

Nice, being from Commyfornia would have to get the Emissions Kit. Looking on the website it looks like that kit retains the stock airbox. Hopefully by November get it on a Black Friday Deal.

Actually I just read that no Hellion products are CARB approved, even emissions compliant systems, but they are working on that. Bummer. Maybe they will get it approved soon. Time will tell…

If you have a M1, you will have most of the GT350 kit because of the intake/TB which doesn't keep the open element filter. I suggest you give Jeff at Hellion sales a call.

Well this will require a heavyduty flame suit. I wanted to do some Ford Racing plus Barricade mix of decals. I did not go with the right color (white) or the actual police decals for obvious reasons.
