The decision was either an FRS or a 2015 mustang but after I checked out the interior of the 2015 stang there was no turning back. So right now I'm looking jnto a base v6 stang with ambient lighting should I add the 1000$ package or buy my own wheels? + the monthly financing payments are coming in at 520$ a month with tax with 0% 5 years finance. Dealer is taking 2000$ off price of car which is 28500 that I'm paying for. Is this a good offer or should I try somehwere else? Any opinion will be appreciated

$28,500 for a base V6 mustang ?! Dude, run away, go to another dealer and get X-Plan. There is no way you should pay over MSRP for a base V6.

I traded in a FR-S for the Mustang. I got the ecoboost with performance package, auto, and a few other add-ons for $28k. Add a tune and lowering springs (under $1000) and it's crazy fast with great handling.

As for the OP's original question... The 051A package I think is worth it. The wheels alone cost around $800-$900 on eBay. With the package you are also getting a power drivers seat and the rear spoiler. The spoiler isn't much but if you are like me then you will appreciate the power lumbar on the power drivers seat.

I'm moving from a FRS to a Mustang. The FRS is more fun and engaging, but the Mustang is faster and more comfortable. I had fun with my FRS, but now I want the power and comfort.

I considered the FRS/BRZ as well but their interiors are so shit, imo. It was like tonka toy quality in there. I sat in it and didn't even do a test drive.

$28,500 for a 5 year finance is too much. I got mine for a 48 month lease at $445/month with a $10,000 buyback (100,000 km limit, the max), everything included with tax. Mine is a little more expensive, but I'm paying for the flexibility of the lease. So I think you can push a bit more.

I'm also from Canada, by the way.

That being said, I also ordered the 051A Package + Reverse Sensing System + Spare Wheel and Tire + All Weather Floor Mats. Being in Canada, I think the spare tire and floor mats are almost mandatory. The floor mats you could get somewhere else for cheaper, but eh. I like them to come from factory. :)

I think the dealer is giving you a fairly decent price, honestly. But there is room to squeeze a bit more out of them. Be patient. If you can't get a money discount, ask them to add more options on it.

To this day I still cant get over how little power the BRZ and FRS have.

Check out the ecoboost as well, if you plan to mod you can make a lot of power easy.

How much did they give you for that FR-S? I see a hood like that and just assume the car's been ruined with modifications; I can't see anybody spending more than $3,000 or so for a car with mismatched body panels.

I kinda like the hood in the matte black. Odd, I know.

Everyone complaining about the power lol don't even understand the car. I don't get why you'd ask here, biased answers from owners. Just get what you want man.

This. I completely understand what the FR-S and BR-Z is all about, but it is just too underpowered. And don't get me started on that interior. so much cheap plastic, the radio looks like something you can buy from best buy, and those tires are so small. Definetely not worth $25k.
