My warranty finally ran out last week while my car was in the shop getting the intake manifold replaced which was the last major part of my old engine in the car. Since I bought the car at 1,800 miles it's had an engine replaced, 3 a/c compressors, and exhaust manifold, and numerous other small things I can't recall right now repaired in the 6 years and 37,000 miles of ownership.
My conundrum; I can get a 6 year 40,000 mile Ford used premium care warranty for $5,480 (I live in California so I can't use Ziegler or Granger or even Ford) and that is the best quote I've received from a dealer so far. I know this a stupid question to ask considering all the work I've had done on the car so far but I have to for my own peace of mind, is it worth it?
