Forward exhaust CLAMPS..???

Hey guys,

Can we use aftermarket clamps on the "front" portion of exhaust? or should i stick w the stock ford parts? I replaced the rear clamps w VIBRANT aftermarket clamps on my steeda resonator delete yesterday. I am thinking about just slapping in new clamps on the front as well, there was a little black soot from drivers side clamp, (#1 in pic). 2023 Mach 1 has 2500 miles on it. Please let me know your thoughts and what have you gone with if you did swamp new ones in. See pics for exact parts.

Thanks for reply, yes i have been having nothing exhaust leaks since swapping in the steeda resonator delete kit. They dont mention that once you remove there freebie clamps w kit they are not good anymore. So i upgraded to the VIBRANT HD clamps that they sell and rear issues is FIXED.
The clamps were on and off about 3x in total..... I guess from loosening up front clamps as well to fix the rear clamps they got weak now as well now. I never had leakage issues up front before, But yesterday i seen the soot while on the lift.
I am just curious what everyone (brand) went with if they replaced the front clamps, I am exhausted dealing w exhaust leaks at this point.

Thanks for reply, Mike!!! Yeah for sure, The VIBRANT clamps i got were like that for the rears. What brand would you go with for the front???

For clamps 1 and 2, pretty confident you should stick w the OEM ones. I ran into this when I installed my catback. The previous owner had done an H-pipe and welded it in on those clamps, so I had to sawzall em off. This was a surprise on install day so I bought some clamps from auto stores around town and tried them out, nothing worked. Ended up just ordering the OEM ones. Those clamps are pretty beefy so I think it's just worth it to order the OEM parts and have it work right

Thanks for reply and help. I'm leaning towards stock clamps for front exhaust. It seems the 2 are easy to get, but the 1 single clamp(#3 in pic with pipe is like $300 bucks. Ridiculous...................

THANKS for everyones help and advice!!! i went with the stock forward clamps ( BR3Z-5A231-B) from Ford via Levittown ford Benny!!!!!
