Good day to all. I know that this topic is old news. I'm going from a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 to a MARTS dsp and would like to use the HRN-AR-FO3 harness as it is plug and play. Does anyone have input that does not involve going behind the head unit etc?

Simply attach new amp harness to HRN ends and plug HRN plugs to kick panel head unit plugs. I used the HRN on two different amps already and will use it on other ones as well.

I don't know why I'm making this so difficult. I guess I need pictures in crayon😂😭

It's actually a MARTS BXT8 Dsp and it doesn't come with any harnesses. It takes RCA inputs. That's my dilema

Just connect the RCA plugs to corresponding HRN wire ends. There's a diag here somewhere on the head unit wires extended via HRN

Does it matter which corresponding HRN wires I connect to?

I can't speak to your specific model, but perhaps this will be of help.

I used a HRN-AR-FO3 harness to pick up the factory signals and feed them to a JL Audio Fix 86.

There are black and tan plugs going from the head unit to the oem amplifier in the drivers side foot well. I connected these two plugs to the F03 harness, then cut the harness wires to feed them into the Fix 86.

Here are the wiring diagrams/posts I referenced: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...o-systems-no-loc-required.159271/post-3244386

What didn't you like about the DSR1?

Did you download the very latest software update off of Rockford Fosgate? The Bluetooth problem is a known problem, but the new software corrected the issue. I had the same problem. Now it's fixed

Also remember, if you go out of the app, the Bluetooth will disconnect until you open the app again. This is a known annoyance

Nope. Kinda exhausted with it. Warranty is over plus I just purchased the MARTS dsp. Hearing good things about it. Just trying to make sure I use my leftover idatalink harness correctly because our system is so "complex"😭
