These are the subs I have. They're in a box already. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to need to get these to run decently in my 2017 Mustang GT with the 6 speaker, 4" display.

I have aftermarket doors speakers. They're not the best, but they're ok for not. I'm told I can go several ways of doing this.

The main thing I'm struggling with is what amp to go with. I have my local store telling me to go with a Punch 1000. Also, they suggest me running a T Harness and whatnot and tap into the front speakers vs the rear speakers for the LOC. If anyone has any insight one what I should be looking for, let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Do not tap into the rear speaker, the stock system has a bass roll-off as the volume goes up and that will make your subs decrease output.

That Punch 1000 is a decent choice. Many different brands/models will work; a lot depends on how much you want to spend and how much power you want to feed the subs. I run JL Audio in the Mustang and Rockford Fosgate Punch in the daily driver.

Are you tapped into the back speakers?

I have a completely upgraded system, so I didn't need to tap into anything. Don't tap into the rears.

Are you tapped into the back speakers?

And Evolvd knows more than me :), definitely trust his opinion also.

There’s a few people in here that know what they’re talking about. @m3incorp is one of them…it would benefit you to trust his opinion.
