Also, that TPMS learning tool is a waste of $52, these new 2015+ cars re-learn TPMS automatically, no tools needed.

Dang it yea that's what they told me so I was like screw it I'll just wait and finally saw them now. I got my car in October so I was trying to search for a while didn't find anything, Ford didn't even have a clue when they were getting any at my dealership.

Ford dealers have not been prepared at all with the launch of this new car. Finding proper camber bolts was impossible a few months ago. Finally my dealer called Roush and they apparently recommending using the shorter S197 camber bolts to align my car after lowering it.

And the 2015 sensors are 1/3 the cost of the 2011-14 sensors ... at least ways on CJP ... nice to see prices go DOWN every once in a while !!

So you just bough the sensors for yours and it picked up?
Yes, I had American Muscle install the sensors on the wheels and tires that I bought from them. Put the wheels on the car straight out of the UPS box, and the sensors picked up!

Interesting, maybe that's what happened with my car. I had winter tires/wheels installed and the shop put in the '14 sensors. I watched them try to program one wheel and they said they were getting an error, they didn't even try the other wheels.

So, the plan was to just drive without working sensors until they could get the '15 sensors.

I noticed right away the sensors seemed to be working, but not accurate. As soon as I got home I checked all the wheel pressures versus the display and they were all wrong by a lot. The shop seemed to put random unmeasured pressure in the tires, one was at 44, the lowest was 30. I'm not impressed by that quality of work, but they did surprise me by actually using a torque wrench on the lugs.

Over the next 50 miles or so the pressure display kept going down until I got a TPMS warning, eventually the display just showed -- for each wheel. I did check the pressure my self and they were fine.

Some time later, I'm not sure how many miles, it started working again and seems to be correct.

How long is it supposed to take to automatically program?
