Jova Wheels?

Any members with Jova wheels on their Mustangs or other vehicles?

They appear to be a manufacturer of aftermarket wheels for various brands but will build and sell single sets to individual customers. Pretty much any finish, diameter, width, bore, offset of wheels. Not off the shelf, so always a wait. Since the specs are essentially custom, they send buyers 3D designs for buyer to confirm they have determined they will fit. They will even build clones of factory or aftermarket wheels in any size, etc. I suspect the first order pays for the programming for that style.

Bottom line seems to be to get custom variations of off the shelf wheels that retailers won't do or charge a lot extra for. Basically, the cost of the customization is paid by eliminating the middleman retailers.

I've only seen good reviews on various brand car forums but not huge numbers since most people shop retailers and order what's offered.

The idea is cool, but I’d be worried the custom wheels that aren’t being rigorously tested like a company that’s manufacturing a specific set of designs (reps or not).

of course if your Mustang is just for cruising and your area’s road infrastructure is well kept - if it’s round it rolls, but if you’re driving spiritedly/roads are rough i’d be a little weary.

I’m no engineer though and there are many smarter minds on here than I. Curious to know what others think.

The fact that they're just blatantly ripping off Vossen wheel designs and actually market them as replica Vossen wheels is just peak Chinese lack of care regarding copyright law in the US. I wouldn't do business with them on that shady basis alone.

Don't intend to put them on my Mustang or anything that would be tracked. Just other cars I have. Roads here are very good. No freezing, little rain, well maintained.

Looking for experiences I would trust. The reviews I've seen are all positive BUT they could all be psychos, plus many are by buyers who were bling orientated which could mean they don't care about much else.

If these are "forged" they're flow forged at best with only the barrels being forged and not the faces. All of their factory pictures just show CNC machines, nothing showing anything being forged at all, nor any machines capable of forging a wheel. I wouldn't trust a car worth more than $1,500 on these wheels.

Of course. That's what I'm trying to figure out if they cut corners. Prices don't hint that. The prices seem similar to off the shelf wheels minus the middleman or the same including customization.

Naturally middleman retailers provide value but some of that is expertise on fitment, support, etc. and warranty. If you trust your fitment skills and recognize you have never needed aftermarket support for any wheels, worth the chance to get the exact finish and sizes you want. And warranties are often almost useless. I run Apexs on my Mustang that have a 50% damage replacement warranty. Problem is they drop finishes for extended periods. Who wants to drive around on mismatched wheels or pay more than the 50% savings to try to Powdercoat match the odd ball?

My main interest is that there are so few non-black wheels or plus widths with the right offsets or bores for most cars.

Lot's of brands are made in China and they do in fact have manufacturing capabilites that no one else in the World has invested in. The problem I see here is that these appear to be shipped directly from China, so if you have an issue, it could be very difficult to process a warranty claim and then ship them back and forth.

Call these guys, they will make you wheels in any color, size, offset, hub bore etc. and have state-side support if you have problems.

I’m in for curiosity more than anything.

I do have a question though. Is there a specific design you’re looking for or a specific make/model you’re trying to fit? As mentioned, there a few vendors that will make you just about anything you want and are a known commodity. There are other manufacturers in the Mustang world that also have specs for other makes/models (Project 6GR, Apex, Velgen, etc just to name a few). Good quality wheels and I know Apex and 6GR offer both flow formed and forged. Signature Wheel also offers wheels for several makes/models.

I would be hesitant to go with a company that is limited as far as information goes. It’s very possible they’re a diamond in the rough but it’s also possible that they’re not well known for a reason (and not a positive one). It would be risk only you and your checkbook know if you’re willing to take.

Good luck, if you do end up going with them I’d be interested know your experience as I’m sure others would as well.

I'm not trying to save a few bucks. I just don't love for the style of any wheels made by those brands for the cars I'd put them on.

I had experience with two orders at the JOVA factory. Spokes broke on both wheels. The geometry of the wheels is not broken. Strong impacts on the wheels did not affect…
