Clutch Pedal Misaligned - No start

When driving, my clutch pedal suddenly misaligned then ranged only halfway when pressed. The pedal's range strikes the black plastic shield to its left, but when I move the pedal to the right, it entirely presses down. But, now my car doesn't start no matter where I move the clutch pedal and press it. I'll push it down fully, hit start button and nothing....

Are there anyway alternatives starting the car? Or is this something reasonably fixable? Any alternatives?

I'm kind of stranded at a friend's house far away and need to drive my car back. Budget is tight and towing is my last option.

Im thinking the clutch pedal switch is broken.

If the weld on the clutch pedal is bad, you can get a new unit that probably has the same weak welding, or you can get yours repaired to be stronger than stock.
