I bought this for a 10" sub. The guy that made this one outlined the volume, port diameter and length etc and all matched what I needed. Has anyone else install a box like this? If so, how was it secured?

They usually fit tight enough you don't have to worry about movement. Worse case, use some velcro on the bottom and it's not going anywhere.

There are two rubber grommets on the floor. Pull them out and place the box in position. From under the car locate the two holes and use a marker to indicate on the bottom of the sub box where the holes are.
Remove the box, drill a hole in the center of both markings wide enough for a 1/2” bolt.
Reinstall box, and run bolt through the box and floor pan using fender washers on both sides and a nylon lock nut.
Install sub and enjoy your music.

Are these grommets in a convertible?

Yep, I have a convertible as well as my GT500. I was just under the car last night working on the exhaust and specifically checked for them. They aren’t large, maybe the size of a nickel.

I want that box. It's the perfect solution and one I've been looking for.

Can I buy the plans? Too big to ship economically.

How deep is it? Volume?

I see it now. Would be nice if they had all the dimensions not just 9" depth . It looks awkward. Better to be 6-7" depth and flush to trunk sides.

Very trunk space is ultra premium. Enclosure is not compelling for my needs.

In the OPs pic it looked flush against the sides which is what I was after. Someone on the forum had one custom made can't find it now.
