Took it for one last drive, and waived goodbye. 21 months, 3330 miles, and 2 track days. Very hard to say goodbye, but just couldn’t take the seats anymore on my crappy back, Any drive over 1 hour and paid for it with back pain for days. A bit sad, because this was the first car I ever ordered exactly the way I wanted. While it far exceeded expectations in many ways, it fell short in a few I just couldn’t ignore anymore.

The stars kind of aligned, and it was time to move on.

And welcomed a new member to the garage. Not as fast, or as exciting, but far superior in a lot of ways that are important to me right now. 2022 C43 AMG. CPO with 4 years of warranty left, and almost 30k below what it sold for new, with only 6k miles.

I’ll have some parts for sale in the appropriate section by this weekend, so if you’re looking for some air deflectors for your brakes, OP SS lines, tow hooks, car cover, full set of bird’s nest wheels with Cup2 TPMS, or an owners box, check the section over the weekend. It’ll all be priced fair to low, and willing to ship most of it.

Hope to be back in the near future. I’d like to find an older, cheap GT to set up for open track days.

Thank you all for your great advice, Ideas, and help the last couple years. Great community here.

…..And if you’re in the SF Bay Area looking for a low mileage, well maintained Mach, PM me and I’ll tell you where it is and what they gave me for it.

Had a Mishimoto H pipe fitted. Along with Steeda rear subframe alignment dowels and rear subframe bushing supports.

You forgot to mention the best bit, that your bushing supports have been blinged up a little :sunglasses:

Sadly, now they’ve been fitted it’s very difficult to see. On the plus side, the anodising should stop any corrosion so that’s a small comfort 😉
Yes that’s correct, and to be honest (after looking at them at U.K. shows) the corrosion resistance was the main driver for getting them anodised.

They are slightly more visible on the GT though as the biggest, most visible clamp is the one that won’t fit the Mach.

For those of you with an EG Mach 1, a 1:64 die cast is now available.

Other colors I've seen in this particular series are black, white, red, yellow, FJG and VB.

eBay is my site of choice for locating those on offer.

The following is one vendor with these listed for sale. Being a new addition to the series, I expect other vendors to stock this item.

It’s about time but I was hoping that it would be bigger than 1/64.

I did some updated searches. For the moment, that's the only EG M1 I could find. Over time, vendors bring new series and previous models back. It could be in the future one is made in a larger scale.

In the mean time, I could think of buying two? One, for your collection or personal hold and to keep with the welcome kit. The second, to unwrap and place in the interior compartment, next to the steering wheel. 😁

Multiple vendors have them for sale on eBay.

Swapped spoilers. For the record, if there’s any difference between absolute black and shadow black, my 50 year old eyes cannot see it.

Looks good! Any zoomed out shots?
Is this the gt350 track spoiler?
Yes ford performance GT350 track pack spoiler. I’ll get a few more pics from a distance.

For the record, if there’s any difference between absolute black and shadow black, my 50 year old eyes cannot see it.
Park your car in the sun.
Take sunglasses off.
Find a reflection of the sun on shadow black.
Dazzle yourself (directly into your eyes) with the reflection of the sun.
Slowly move head, keeping the reflection of the sun dazzling you.
Watch it sparkle.

Try the same on absolute, I would be interested to know if you see the same ‘sparkle’ :like:

Off topic but yeah, I will echo that - and I've even read shadow black owers saying there is no flake in it ... lol

I almost bought a slightly damaged 350 spoiler that the owner told me was ebony, yet on the close up of the damage you could see the sparkle.

Shadow black :

Also shadow black, on the exact same roof and vents ...

It is difficult to capture (in focus) on a phone camera.

I suspect Ford put it in just to add some 'sparkle'. Catch a direct reflection of the sun on a shadow black part (so it's dazzling you) and then move around, the reflection flashes and sparkles - it adds a nice subtle visual effect :like:

Previously, Target sold a FJG Mach 1 in a 1:43 scale; I later saw these cars elsewhere.

This morning, I've found the same item, in Velocity Blue.

The following vendor is selling this model on eBay for $26.95, plus shipping. I did check Target, WalMart and other vendors just now; they do not have it in stock.

IDK if this is a rollout in a new color or a newly-discovered unicorn hoard. :giggle: Probably the former. If so, I expect them to become more plentiful in the coming months.
