What Pliars for these Clamps?

What type of pliars am I searching for to set these clamps??

NP. Some people use Dykes (side cutter pliers) in a crunch, but I like the tool much better. I just used mine recently on my new fuel lines.

Nice. I replaced all the worm screw hose clamps on my airplane with Oetiker Ear Clamps. Far better clamp....

They’re solid! No worries about them coming loose once fhey’ve been installed.

Exactly. Many don't realize while tightening a worm screw style clamp that beyond a certain point, the screw is deforming the clamp and not actually getting tighter, but it's getting looser.

Worm clamps also don't expand and contract well with whatever they're clamping. Spring clamps are superior imo. Ear clamps are okay but somewhere in between (mostly an issue with aged rubber).

Not many of the materials involved are going to expand and contract at the same rate and as far as clamps go, expansion and contraction isn't actually an overly desired function of the clamp.

Don't think I've ever seen spring clamps used on high pressure fuel and oil systems, radiator/cooling systems hoses, etc. But, they seem to work ok on my 23 HP Kohler gravity fed fuel system on my John Deere lawn mower.

I guess I was more thinking of cooling system use, for stuff like fuel system ear is definitely the superior choice. I had ear clamps for the cooling system on one of my previous cars and they leaked after a few years and thousand miles.

These cars use spring clamps by default for all the rad hoses.

I think maybe I'm not tracking with what's being called a spring clamp....are you talking about the type that is basically spring wire with a tensioning screw?
