Only two.

Use the K-Member in the Front. It will lift the front of the car.

Go to the back and use either of the circled spots and it will lift the entire rear.
Cool, thanks for the tip.

OKAY have I been missing something lately or did nobody else notice the side exhaust outlets?

Look at that, they come out right at the rear "JACKING" points!

I sent a pm to FordService with a link to this thread and a request for help.

This has come up on 3 different threads that I can recall (1 I started) so it seems to be a wide interest thing. Suggestions have been offered but I would really like to read what Ford has to say.
Thanks for looping me in, USPSALIMITED.

Officially, jack stands are only needed when repairing the vehicle so I'm unable to share the best way to place stands. However, that information is available in the Work Shop Manual; access to it can purchased at Ford Motorcraft.

Due to the modification aspect of this thread, I'm going to run away now. :bolt:

Wise wise lady :).

My thanks anyway, the messenger does not create the message.

For what it is worth to anybody else. Have had good luck with dealers making photocopies or just letting me look at their stuff for free in similar circumstances. If I didn't see this as generic info that should come free of charge then I might be ok with the cash route.

Putting the 2015 Mustang on 4 Jack Stands

Does anyone have the correct jacking locations for the 2015?
We all know what the owners manual says for jacking the car on the locations on the rocker panel lips for changing a tire with a scissors jack-which we hope we never have to do.The factory supplied jacks are not very stable and I never recomend them. The question I see everyone wants to know is:WHERE DO WE PUT A STANDARD FLOOR JACK FOR JACKING THE REAR-PUTTING IT ON 2 JACKSTANDS AND THEN JACKIING THE FRONT AND THEN PUTTING IT ON 2 JACKSTANDS.At this time now we have a car on 4 stands and can actually work under the car safely. The last Mustang I jacked up was a 1999 GT-VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD-Jacked up the rear on the pumpkin-put stands on axle tubes-jacked up the front on the crossmember under engine-put stands under the floor supports or pinch welds. No problem at all-very safe -can work on car -no issues.
Now when I look under my 2015 GT-The front is in question -the under pan-or aero cover basically covers anything that may be a jacking point. The rear center section has always been a safe jacking point in the past.But-on this car? My opinion is -it should be ok......
I would like to know for sure !
I have workded on cars for over 40 years-Designs change and cars have changed alot along with the materials they are using today.
My local Ford dealer has no more info than what is in the owners manual and of course they have a shop equipped with many lifts.
Now are we expected to buy 3 more floor jacks to use the 4 jacking points on the rockers? Then there is still the issue of where to put the jackstands if the jacks are in the jacking points.
Is there a Ford Tech on this forum?
Is there a Ford Company Service Engineer on this forum?
As Mustang owners-we are a do it yourselfer bunch when possible-so we need the correct info here-NO GUESSING.
I'm cosidering contacting Ford Racing-they have always been helpful in the past.
