Yea, but with the rails you center the jack and lift the entire side of the car. Less jacking! Lord knows a few around here could do a little less jacking.

I just installed my Steeda low profile jacking rails and bought my first electric 3/8" impact wrench.

Two of the best decisions I've made so far for my car.
Great decision - glad you are enjoying them!

Best Regards,

TJ

Yes, I have a 1/2" torque wrench, and a 3/8" torque wrench all for fine tuning the specs.

I didn't see a torque spec for the Steeda Jacking Rails so I just used the impact wrench then hand tightened them pretty tight.

tj@steeda may know?
No specific torque specs are provided, we did recommend 35-40 lbs. but as long as they are tight, you are good.

Best Regards,

TJ

too clarify...

I have 4 on the way! Thanks for the link!
You only need one. It has super strong magnets that clip on for the jacking. Then you remove it and position for the next jacking. That's why they have the cool little "remove before flight" banner, so you remember it's there, otherwise you could forget it because it isn't visible for above. :)

Yep, but I got some for work too for when we want to just use a jack instead of the hoist. Thanks again. They came today. Very fast delivery.

I feel like people that worry about pinch weld breakage don't have a complete grasp of what welding is..
