What gear do these cars need to be logged in? I logged my WRX in 3rd most of the time, a few times in 4th. But that put me at a high rate of speed.

I 100% agree. There are enough people who think Dyno's are the end all be all though, and thats an argument I tend to avoid.Agreed logging on the street is real as it gets, especially load and iat,s , but like u said as long as u have a place to log at without going to jail!!!.
In the past third gear has been sufficient for my tuners, until the very last revision. They wanted both third gear and fourth gear pulls. Fourth gear is a bitch on the street. What gear do these cars need to be logged in? I logged my WRX in 3rd most of the time, a few times in 4th. But that put me at a high rate of speed.

Yea and now y hey want to do dyno pulls in fifth gear, try doing that on the street lol.At least thats what all the dyno,s being done now are.I 100% agree. There are enough people who think Dyno's are the end all be all though, and thats an argument I tend to avoid.

What problems did you have with your AED tune?Indeed I think its a little too early. That said I did AED in the past and although the car was faster I ran into all sorts of issues. I honestly will not tune my car ever again. The car has plenty of power and tons of room for improvement in other areas.
YesDo you think that a YDBT tune with a set of all season or winter drag radials and a catback from Strawberry Shortcake Racing would be all my daily driver would need to run 10.90 on a virtual dragstrip or put down 500rwhp on a dyno app from my Smartphone?
Can you elaborate on your happiness with the Lund tune? One think I read on one of the forums is that Lund tunes for all out numbers with no real concern for reliability, and that basically made them check off my list. Whether it was an accurate statement or not I personally don't know, but they at least seemed like they knew what they were talking about.I guess this is about as good place for a first post as any, been reading lots, yet to talk much though.
I've had tunes from
Lund
Dan at Livernois
Mike at 5 Star
Paul Meister when he was with Torq
Torrie at Unleashed
BBR
JPC
Amazon
Bama
All of these are between 2012 and now, most were on a 2011 Mustang GT that went through iterations of N/A, Nitrous and turbo and a few of those guys tuned a 2012 EB F150. I've done tons of remote dyno sessions with most of the ones on that list and LOTS of datalogging with all of them.
My experience says Lund and that's who I will be using, just waiting until the nGauge is released to see if it's worth it over the SCT.

False, Lund tunes for drivability, reliability and all out power. Can you elaborate on your happiness with the Lund tune? Lund tunes most of the top cars in the country with many records and race wins. What people need to remember is that with any tuner you can tell them your goals and they will write a tune that is perfect for you, both power numbers and overall driveability/reliability.
