Can anyone recommend a product to clean the PP wheels? With the Brembos brake dust builds up fast and I've read that some of the wheel cleaners on the market can discolor the brake calipers. Thanks in advance.

I have gloss black wheels on my GTO and I just use car soap and water and wash them just like any other painted surface. Sorry can't recommend a cleaner. I really wouldn't want to use any harsh chemical on a painted surface but that is just me. Got to be something mild out there. :)

S100 Total Cycle Cleaner. No wiping, just spray on, hose off. It is the best stuff out there and will not harm anything including painted clear coat wheels or brakes. It's important to know the wheels and brakes MUST be cool to touch first. Hose it off for a long time to get it all off.

I like the car-wash-and-water method. A little rubbing lets you use a much more mild cleaner. Get an all-foam "brush" from AutoZone or wherever, to get inside all those cells.

I use Adam's Polishes Deep Wheel Cleaner
I wash the wheels first and then go to the body of the car.
After washing I use Adam's Tire Shine to give the tires that wet look!
I like Adam's because they have great products and are Made in USA!!! Plus their videos are helpful with understanding their products

I always wash the wheels last with a dedicated microfiber and a wheel wooly. They are still a pain...so I bought new wheels. ;) Hopefully only 4 or 5 more washes for these wheels.

+1 on the car soap. I use a separate bucket with a grit guard and wash mit. I've been putting an occasional coat of Collinite 845 on them as well. Seems to make them easier to clean but doesn't last too long.

I use Sonax + on all my wheels when needed.

I also put Opticoat on the wheels and calipers when new so most of the time there is very little agitation needed to remove any dirt/dust. Sometimes I can get away with no wheel cleaner and just hit them when I pre-wet the car with my pressure washer.

Here's a 25 Liter jug of Sonax + I am currently using:

as mentioned above sonax is a great product. I normally use soap, water, micro fiber, and a bucket with grit guard 90 percent of the time. the other ten I use sonax, normally only once every six months.

Waxing your wheels or applying a sealant makes it a lot easier to clean in the future.

Another vote for Sonax. It's Great stuff and it's cool how it works.

It goes on green and changes to red when it's working on the dust. It works quickly too.

They also say that it's Ph neutral, so you can use it on any wheel.

About ready to order some. My only concern is will Sonax stain or discolor the Brembo calipers.

No, it won't. You're good, just don't let it dry on the wheels or brakes.. Keep aware of the temps and how fast it will dry and have your water ready to rinse.
