Based on the below summary from Optimum Performance Mustang, I am thinking my 2022 base GT has the "Mach 1" style, improved front hubs. Photos of mine attached from when I did the Bilstein B6 installation. Note the lack of internal splines (like G350/R and mag ride cars) and also no center nut (like older base cars). Am I understanding this correctly?

My 22 GT Premium has the exact same hub, maybe they upgraded due to premature failure in previous years?

hey now, at least he has the rotor hat on the correct face!
My rotors will flash rust HARD in just 2 days of rain.

There were a number of brake and I guess axle component changes in early (feb?) of 21.

She'd been sitting for maybe 2-3 days when I did this suspension work back in June of last year. Always garaged and I rarely drive her in the rain so not sure how that happened.

Interesting how ford switched the rotor design and used Mach 1 hubs even on base GT. My gt base late 21 build had this as well.

Knuckle dictates the hub you need. Hub debacle didn’t seem to start until ‘21. There’s no upgrading the hub style unless you’re changing your knuckle.

What would the benefit even be from "upgrading" the knuckle and hub?

It does not get confusing until 2021. You only had Mag Ride hubs and non Mag Ride hubs.
