Heated/Cooler Powered Recaros Coming?

This could be a game changer for me. Ive been looking at ways to switch to Recaros but keep the heated/cooling function.

Figured I’d share the news. Hope they aren’t too expensive when they come out.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe EU Recaros are powered but not heated/cooled.

Indeed, thanks. That is the one upgrade I would be willing to do to my 2022, assuming those powered recaros also work with the memory seat function.

The Recaros in my Australian 21 Mach 1 are powered, but not heated and cooled

I expect Recaro's to be pricey. But that is absurd.

I thought exactly the same thing.

This video kinda went viral because the Recaro's were heated and cooled. A lot of people thought they came in the EU cars. Most of the comments were about the seats including mine. Somewhere they said the seats were sent to a company who moved the heaters and blowers to the Recaros.

Wonder if its the same Company in the links people are providing in this thread.

I don’t think so, as they mentioned in the video it was a local shop (in Europe) and the links in this thread are for some US based car seat shop.

I wonder how easy it would be to swap the bases, looks like there might be welding/rivots involved.

I don't think it's easy, hence not many Companies are doing it. The prices in the USA link are insane.
