Has anyone suddenly lost a driving mode?

2018 GT Premium, 10R80, still on Sync 3.0.
Girlfriend has been dailying the car recently more than me and the only mode she’s put it in is snow/wet. Car drives perfectly with no issues or intermittent faults, codes, or problems. Just really curious why I lost sport, but still have Sport+.

I should note, all traction control systems are on and no My Mode’s are active.

This could be why. You’ll only see sport with the gear shifter in S. You won’t see it in D. Sport+ will show up in both. You’ll see more detailed about this in your owner’s manual under Driving Aids/Drive Control.

Wait...my 2020 has Sport mode able to select when I'm in D (drive). The dash Sport mode allows you to let the trans do the shifting. When you put the shifter into S on the selector you "have" to manually shift to change gears. I wouldn't think a 2018 GT Prem with auto would be that different than a 2020.
Can you still select Track mode and Drag mode too?

Yep, as mentioned, sport is not a driving mode in that menu all the time, but instead activated by putting the gear shifter in S from D. You only see Sport+ toggling through that menu in D. I have a manual car, so I dont have a Sport mode at all, just Sport+. This is how I read the manual anyways.

OP has the A10 tho... I have the same. In the Mode menu you have Sport, Track, Drag. Wet/Snow, Comfort (or Stanard). All available when in D, Drive.

Heres a snip from the manual for my 22 FWIW. It looks like Sport is triggered by putting it on S, Sport+ is accessed through the menu. I'm not sure if sport is a seperate option in that menu or not, since i dont have sport because manual. But it does look like it isnt available when the shifter is not in S.

Here's my last, when I'm in my Mustang and I press the Mode menu I have Sport yes probably Sport+ it comes up when I'm in Drive. When I use it, and I do the drive mode changes to it without me putting the shift selector in S. I've done it many times, works fine. If our OP has a automatic transmission in GT Premium it should show a Sport+ mode in his menu. Now I'm out.

In my 2016 I have two key fobs. One allows sport mode and one does not.

Too bad its your last, I was gonna ask if you ever see two S's when toggling through the drive mode menu. It sounds like it could be a no from your answer but i wanted to confirm. Think that would answer the last question i have on how this works in an auto. I only ever test drove an automatic once and didn't play with the modes toggle at all, just moved the shifter into S so i could shift like a manual as that was what i was ordering.

Ah good point! I forgot all about MyKey, thats something for the OP to check on! Maybe their other key fob behaves normally!

Just this one. On the menu it goes Drive, Sport+, Track, Drag, Wet/Snow. Like this dude's video shows for the 2018+.

That's odd. It was listed when the car was in D for the longest time, only in the last few months did I notice it was gone and recently decided to investigate. Hardly shifted it into S and just used the driving mode switch to select between them all.

Only one key with my car unfortunately. I haven't added or changed keys since I bought it from the dealer.

I would try changing the key fob batteries!
