Actually I did read your post to which I asked does it feel like it's stuck in sport mode or normal mode? You indicated the car feels no different between the two so which "way" does it feel, normal or sport?
My bad:headbang:. Felt like it was stuck in Normal. Drove it home tonight after it was sitting all day and looks like the problem has been corrected. Definitely something weird was going on this morning.

I read your post also. I just didn't have an answer. Have you put it in track mode or snow/wet to see if there is a difference? If not, I'd take it to the dealer.
I was being a smart ass and now looks like it backfired. I appreciate your response(s) as well. Yes, this morning, I threw it in all the different modes and the only noticeable change was snow/wet. Track, not sure I ever felt any difference so it was just normal and sport. Good news is it looks like it has corrected itself. Drove it home about 20 miles tonight and feels like it should. Very strange. Thanks again for your input.:headbang:

Were you trying to get into sport mode when going in reverse, I don't believe the car will allow it.
Nah, was into my commute and the car just felt "slower" like in Normal mode. Its all fixed now - must have corrected itself or something. Very odd.

is it showing the change of modes on the screen like normal then just does nothing, or is the switch itself dead?
It showed the "S" but it definitely wasn't in Sport mode... All good now. Thanks for replying.

16' Mustang Ecoboost Premium (Stage 1)
I am having a similar problem. Can someone help me? I had my 16 Ecoboost Premium for 6K miles and did a stage 1 cobb tune. Went in for my second oil change at 10K...not to the dealership (bc I did not feel like uninstalling the car out of fear something would go wrong). Turns out the front ball joints were almost completely loose. Very odd for a relatively brand new car. (Probably because of the 70-80 extra torque to the wheels shook em loose). So I take it to dealership and they replaced everything no problem. They did not catch the tune because I uninstalled before going in. Once I was home...re tuned the car...and the SPORT MODE (have manual trans) is not nearly as responsive as it used to be. I am so pissed. There is almost no difference at all. And I assure you...there was a clear difference before I uninstalled. (I would switch modes while on the throttle and could feel a major difference...now...it is so miniscule).

What could be the problem?

I uninstalled and re-installed. No effect. Unplugged the battery for 20 mins...it set my Air Fuel ratio back to .75 and it needs to be at -1 to be fully tuned so I got it back to -1 and still no effect. I guess I will uninstall...see how it acts stock and if there is no noticeable difference again, I will take it to the dealership...but I don't want them messing with the computer and possibly finding that I have had the car tuned in the past.

(It's a lease...but for 20 extra HP and 80 extra torque...it was worth 500 bucks)

Someone please help. I just want the car back to the way it was. It was so nice. Now it's sluggish again.

I was using cheaper fuel for 300 miles but now I have gone 1000 miles on good fuel again. Please help.

Hey, I just had similar issues the past few days. Took the car in for an oil change and things just didn't seem right so I reflashed my car and noticed a definite improvement but tonight on my way home it seemed like there was absolutely no difference between sport and drive. What gives?
