DonePowerStop Z23 and Z26 are practically the same, only with metal shims for better thermal transfer in the Z26, as opposed to rubber for lower noise in the Z23. So you can mark the Z26 dust level as low, too.
Ferodo DS2500 is OEM, only without the Ford rebranding. So you can put an 'insane' there for the amount of dust.![]()
Z26 were reported here as being "nowhere near the bite of the stock PP pads" and "rotor eaters" while "having cracked after 1 and a half days of tracking" on the RO Mustang fb group (I got kicked out of for not licking a picture lol)I wonder what the difference is between Z16 and Z23. They say Z16 is ceramic, while Z23 is carbon fiber reinforced ceramic. I don't know what that translates into in practical terms.
I have ordered Z23 for my GT due to their lower amount of dust, but should I perhaps have ordered Z16? Would they have been even cleaner than the Z23?
