Since Triple Yellow looks oddly ugly in person with black stripes running front to rear

I have yet to see the car in person, but so far I like the stripes. They seem to break up the big mass of yellow; plus it brings the black wheels together with the overall look.

Further they kinda suit the hot rod theme my father is going for with his vehicle choice itself. He didn't order the car so the stripes were unexpected. He was actually on the fence about taking them off when he bought the car. So far (1 day) he is keeping them, but they can come right off anytime he decides he wants a change. It no more difficult than removing a clear bra or vehicle wrap.

To each his own though!

Thanks, Glenn — did the dealer up there install the stripes? I'm outside of Philadelphia, so driving up your way for a good install isn't totally out of the question. Any idea what they cost?

I have to say if it had been a manual I might consider it, but I am in love with Ruby Red so I must hold out lol
