You're a stud dude. That's amazing work. Takes some guts to tackle that job, too.
Thanks KingKona. I was nervous for sure, but the LMR videos really helped and gave me the confidence.
So happy with the outcome. I highly recommend Katzkins for the quality.

Yep. Redline says specifically in their installation instructions to get some slack in the hose like you have pictured.
I found out the hard way ~2 years ago when I attempted to install Ford Performance struts. I immediately emailed Ford, got BS for a response, then I returned the struts.

Yes the FP instructions aren’t the greatest for the hood struts. I put them on my 2016. Luckily my washer hose had a little slack in it already otherwise it would have pinched.

Finally got new wheels and added some fancy lug nuts to finish them off. Paint job on the wheels didn’t come out as well as I thought it would but it was my first time so I can live with it until I can get them powder coated.

Looks good.

FWIW, for those who have installed struts, regardless of brand, double check the area I have circled in red for a crimped washer fluid tube.

..and it my case... make sure the fender brackets are tightened, etc. I couldn't get them to stay tight on mine and they rotated. Messed with it while...and returned 'em. Didn't want the paint messed up on the fender.

You have to hold the assembly up so that the inner fender “washer” is touching the actual fender (underneath), that way when you tighten it, it doesn’t spin and you can actually get the bolt tight. Once it’s tight there’s really no reason for it to rotate.

Well, that's what's expected.

. Played with it far too long, even tried putting some thin gasket type material underneath. Spoke to Redline in person who were helpful and suggested everything I tried. They still rotated on my '22 and my friend's '23 Mach 1. After a little scrape on my paint...I was out.

In my opinion, except for the Steeda kit that has a second attachment point, they'll all eventually turn. It's only natural, with a bit of leverage at the pivot point and no way to keep it from rotating.

That being said, I have a Redline kit on my '16 Police Utility. This has two mounting points and is very secure.

I am at the Miami airport picking up my GF. Drove a couple of extra levels to find a parking spot, with the windows down 😅 🚗 oh joy, my ears 😅

Installed an eBay PP2 splitter(Cuztom Tuning.) Couldn't justify spending $500+ on the OEM one.

hows the fit and finish? Did you have to use self-taping screws to secure it? I might be interested in buying the same one!

It comes with 20 or 21 self taping screws. I used all of them and some double sided tape just incase. It feels similar to the OEM PP1 lip. It's pretty thin, but it feels sturdy mounted. I'm not disappointed with it. Plus, it's affordable to replace if it ever gets too damaged.

damn catchcan clip broke... think all the heat made it brittle. To empty my catchcan I always just pop the clips holding the catchcan to the bracket and unscrew the bolts outside of the car

Just got done with a wrap & after-market fender/front bumper install. Still a few odds & ends to iron out but pretty much done:

Really happy with the outcome overall. Only complaint is the anderson composite fenders somewhat poor fitment, particularly the top section between the hood and side-mirror (on both sides), and then another incongruity not too far below there (only on driver side) - zoom in if you want to see what I'm talking about... Oh and they were a complete bitch to install of course - lots of shaving/custom work... whereas my anderson composite hood, rockers, & trunk-lid (EDIT: & diffuser) all fit quite well 🤷‍♂️

777 bumper looks great, easy install, had it primed before wrapping. Small gap beneath the passenger headlight but we'll probably be able to fix that next time we take the bumper off. Should've bought a GT500 aftermarket bumper right after I got my GT originally cause I spent way too much money/effort trying to put makeup on that pig of a bumper, not to mention those heavy-ass cervini grilles.

went to look at a local s650 to try and investigate retrofitting rear PP brakes. had to do a side by side. Shame they got a PP A10 5.0 but didn't get the active exhaust. sticker was 58k

also had someone leave a note on my windshield asking if i was selling, probably from still having the window pen #'s from drag racing on the windshield and side window.
