Looking to see if anyone here has done a track build and how far they have gone. I wanna stay n/a for a bit then further down the line throw boost at the car. Trying to get an idea on suspension and setup to keep the car stuck to the road.

which is a complete waste of time and money since you won't be able to get the power down let alone cool the car sufficiently.

But you'd know that if you read any of a dozen pages worth of threads. :)

Unlike Facebook which has no rear-view mirror, it's a good idea to spend a few days reading before asking. All topics have been dealt with at least a dozen times over.

Welcome to the forum! :) :)

OP, he doesn't lie. If the car is going to see significant road course time, supercharging it is just going to cause a cooling nightmare. And it's doubtful most people will even be able to use all that power on the road course. Need a big driver mod. I have a little bit of road course experience and I can't use all the power the engine produces. And I do try to push as hard as I can. I have only done small mods to the engine (intake manifold, CAI, and ECU tune).

Honestly you're going to spend a lot of money to just to get the stock car capable of road course/track driving. Tires, brakes and suspension are way more critical. And then there's more cooling mods and aero lol. It gets expensive quick.

So is this where the benefit of the GT500 comes in, cooling capacity, or are they hard to cool as well? I am just curious as I would have no desire to attempt to keep a supercharged GT cool on a road coarse, but I would think with enough modifications, it would be possible, but not easy, nor cheap.
