I have had the distinct pleasure of test driving a 2015 Mustang Ecoboost, I am sold on it. I would however like to point out that the salesman at Landmark named Rex DeMello, is a mellow, respectful, and non-sales-pressure type of guy.

When the test drive was over I didn't feel like the world would end if I didn't buy the car that minute.

I highly recommend them over the other local Ford dealerships, I have walked out of Damerow in Beaverton because the sales tactics were really infuriating.

All of my dealings with Landmark have been favorable. I'm a Ford dealer in the Seattle area and often times dealers aren't nice to each other, but the folks at Landmark that I deal with regularly are good people. If they're nice to other dealers (whom they're competing against), I trust they're nice to their customers, as well.

Agreed, Damerow has been very high pressure in the past and even tried to sell my wife on a 26% interest rate on a car she was not even interested in back in 2002! Needless to say that we just walked out...

in defense of damerow, i had a great experience with their fleet sales manager (chris blackburn) back in 2012 when i factory ordered a 2013 GT for an OTD price less than invoice. that said, when my car was totaled last month and i tried to contact chris to order a 2015 GT, i was informed he was no longer there - and definitely felt that the sleeze factor had increased exponentially since the last time i was in there. i took my business to landmark and have had another great experience with the fleet department - this time with charlie wilson. once again, i've got an OTD price on a factory ordered car at less than invoice. and *didn't* get a sleezy vibe from the on-the-floor salesmen either. helps that they're a high-volume dealership too if you want to have your ordered car in hand quicker.

Since 2006 I have bought 3 Mustangs (2006, 2010, 2013) & a 2012 Escape from Landmark Ford. I paid dearly to get the 2006 but the other 3 purchases were pretty painless, no pressure, got X plan discount & fare trade ins as well.

It's looking like there might be a yellow 2015 GT 50th in my near future.

Got my 2015 delivered from Kevin at Landmark on Saturday.
Great guys and easy to deal with.
Didn't charge a bump and even got a rebate on delivery.
Can't go wrong with these guys.

Was going to say that was a one time experience and ready to give them the benefit of the doubt but just now I see they are asking $50k over MSRP for their LE!

I don't know what's up with Damerow Ford.

I also saw their 50th LE on the showroom floor with the beyond insane $50k ADM. Any dealer that I see play despicable games like that, I usually avoid like the plague.

On the other hand, I bought my car from Damerow, working with Dale Monahan, for $400 *below* invoice. Dale was very straightforward and easy to deal with, absolutely no pressure, nonsense, or games of any kind, and a price I was very happy with. I would definitely buy a car from Dale Monahan again, but can't reconcile how easy it was to deal with him with the nonsensical $50k ADM someone else there seemed to think was a good idea.

I guess it shows that a lot depends on the sales person you work with.

Not only are they asking a ridiculous $50k over asking prices, but if you go to their website that same LE has the most horrible photographs to show it off. Really, can you guys not hire someone that can take a properly exposed, and in focus shot of a car that you are highlighting as your crown jewel? The photos also fail to show off any of the unique features (Louvers, numbered plaque, etc.) in a way that would make them desirable. Really confusing...

I bought my '15 from Dale as well and had a great experience (used X-Plan + additional rebates). I'm new to the area and don't normally buy Fords so had no prior experience with Damerow. Based on this thread though I might have to head to Landmark if I'm ever in the market for another Ford.

I've just had a terrible experience with Skyline ford. Headache and struggle for 2 days to be told today the car I had a purchase order and they dealer traded for is now missing. They said it was getting some ford racing parts installed to go in the current dealers showroom, weird on a car they were trading....they weren't sure on where it went or when it would be back. They also wouldn't use my eaa rebate. Told me the ecoboost didn't qualify, sounds like a bunch of lies. Mckenzie is my next shot. Landmark didn't have the color I wanted, but I've heard great things about them.
