I just want to give a shout out and big thumbs-up to a local Portland-area business that made changing my oil and oil filter a very easy task for my new 2022 Mustang GT.
Gearhead Garage, in SW Portland (Tigard area).
Website: https://gearheadgarage.us
The shop owner Mike is very friendly and helpful, and assisted me in learning and using a 9000 pound car lift for the first time. The price was very reasonable. I only needed to bring with me my new oil and filter. Being able to stand under my car made working on it so much easier than having to do it at home. The shop was clean, well-maintained and organized, and lots of space and breathing room.
Anyhow, I just thought I'd share this with any other local area forum members who have given thought to working on their own cars, rather than taking it to a dealer, Jiffy Lube, or struggling at home. Not long ago I never knew this kind of business existed nearby. I definitely will be taking my Mustang back there for more and future DIY maintenance and work.
